2030 Transportation Plan Development Completed
On September 19, 2007, the Kalamazoo Area Transportation Study Policy Committee approved the 2030 Metropolitan Transportation Plan for the Kalamazoo Urbanized Area, including all of Kalamazoo County. The document is now available online for viewing. CDs and printed copies are available upon request. Contact us for more information on obtaining a copy of the 2030 Transportation Plan.
FY 2008 - 2011 Transportation Improvement Program
The FY 2008 - 2011 Transportation Improvement Program was approved by the KATS Policy Committee on September 19, 2007. The document includes projects that are proposed for construction during fiscal years 2008 through 2011. More . . .

Safe Routes to School (SR2S) is an international movement to make it safe, convenient and fun for children to bicycle and walk to school. When routes are safe, walking or biking to and from school is an easy way to get the regular physical activity children need for good health.
